Spots and Commercials

Below is a selection of some spots I made in which I was always battling with time because sometimes you have to tell the story in less than a minute. Then every second and every image counts... But in the meantime, I enjoyed having to think that way.

National Committee May 4 and 5

On May 5, 1945, people danced in the streets. Exuberant, crying with happiness. Freedom. What would it be like to dance again? With the generation that also danced in the streets then and with the generations of today? Together.

Ministry of Defence

The special thing about this spot was that it was constructed entirely from photos that were edited to create movement and depth.

A spot that fitted very well with the atmosphere of the Liberation Festivals.

Veterans Foundation

For a veteran, it's never Game Over.

A spot in which the Veterans Fund wanted to make clear that for veterans it is not over when they return from their mission.

This spot was also shown at the National Committee May 4 and 5 Liberation Festivals.

Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport

Spot for the Ministry of Public Health, Welfare and Sport about the bombing in Rotterdam in which Zadkine's statue was the centerpiece.

The spot was shown on the screens of the 13 National Committee Liberation Festivals.

The Efteling

Have you ever dreamed of sitting in the Python at night while it's pitch dark?

I haven't - but we did shoot this for a spot for the Efteling that reached a different audience than the one who come for fairy tales.

RefugeesWork Netherlands

For RefugeesWork Netherlands, I created spots focusing on how proud RefugeesWork Netherlands is of its work and the refugees integrated in the Netherlands.
